Top Features & Requirements
JavaScript Support
To allow for flexible communication between the animation and other webpage elements, each image can have a unique JavaScript function call. By clicking on an image, the corresponding function is then executed. This gives you the possibility to create your own JavaScript functions by which the 3D Stack animation can communicate with other webpage-elements.
Automated 3D Slide Show
With the Slide Show feature, the 3D Stack display can be fully automated. 3D Stack leafs through the pages of a stack automatically, and shows the Tooltip of the currently displayed image. When the slide show arrives at the end of the stack, the stack automatically flips back through the stack, in reverse. A mouse click on any image in the stack stops the slide show and allows the user to take control.
Detail Page With HTML Support
When you click on an image in the stack, a detail page will display at your option. On this details page, more information about the selected image or product can be displayed. Two unique text fields rendering some of the most important HTML tags are available on the details page.
Over 1000 Effect Combinations
Various effects are available for the detail page fly-in (appear) and fly-out (disappear) transition. These effects can be individually configured for each element of the detail page (image and text fields). With these settings, there are many possible effect combinations useful for presenting each animation.
Randomize Images
To improve performance for leafing through images in a stack, all images are preloaded into the animation. This can increase memory requirements for large stacks with many images, and slow the initial load time under some conditions. Using Randomize Images feature, you can limit the number of images preloaded into a stack and achieve peak performance. With this feature, every time a 3D Stack page is displayed, a different group of images shows in the stack!
Different results when clicking on an image
You can determine how the animation should react following the click on an image:
1. A page appearing with detail information on the selected image.
2. A link opening to a different page.
Simple Integration
Control and appearance of the 3D Stack are effected entirely via a single XML file. This file also contains the paths of the images and texts to be shown on the details pages. With this set-up it is therefore possible to create a 3D Carousel within a few moments and without any programming skills!
For complex dynamic websites there is furthermore the option to transmit the XML file via HTTP Response to the animation. Easy to understand examples in HTML, ASP.NET and PHP are included in the package.
