If you purchase this module, you are entitled to a Lifetime License. This means that you are guaranteed to get free upgrades for this animation for life!
Top Features & Requirements
Reviewed and certified by DotNetNuke Corp.
As all other mediaANT modules, the 3D Carousel has successfully passed the DotNetNuke Module Review!
High-Resolution Images
All images in the Carousel are shown without any flickering – even photos are displayed in pin-sharp detail during the rotation movement! This means that you can create top quality animations (e. g. image galleries) with very impressive results.
Very Smooth Movements
The images move very smoothly, irrespective of whether the speed of movement is high or low.
Support of different image sizes
Images of different sizes can be displayed at the same time in the Carousel. All images are automatically aligned along the bottom.
Flexible Navigation Buttons
The new navigation buttons can be positioned anywhere within the animation. In addition, color and transparency of the buttons can be set to specifications.
JavaScript Support
To allow for flexible communication between the animation and other modules, each image can be given the name of a JavaScript function. By clicking on the image, the corresponding function is then called up. This gives you the possibility to create own JavaScript functions (e. g., in an html/text module) via which the animation can communicate with other modules.
No portal modifications required
After installation of the module, the 3D Carousel is immediately ready for use! None of the settings of your portal will be affected by the installation and no additional software will be installed!
User-Friendly Configuration
The module can be fully configured via the "Settings" page. All options are already pre-set, and in most cases drop-down lists support the selection of entries. Each setting is fully described in a help text. It is therefore not necessary to go through a lengthy training process in order to understand how the 3D Carousel functions. ( Settings overview ).
Wide Selection of Presentation Options
Data input on radius, perspective, speed and mirroring enable you to configure the Carousel to your exact specifications. All text and background colors are freely configurable.
Various Rotation Options
For the rotation you can choose between the following options:
• Automatic: The Carousel always rotates. The visitor can control the rotation direction and speed by mouse.
• Via buttons: In this setting, navigation arrows are featured in one of the corners of the module.
• No rotation: This setting is used for 3-D presentation of images.
HTML-Style Support
Font size, font color and line spacing of all texts can be configured freely with the help of selection lists. Extensive text formatting can be effected via a sub-set of HTML tags.
Choice of Events Triggered
Clicking on a Carousel image may trigger any of the events below:
• Open a page with detail information on the Carousel image.
• Follow a link to another page.
• No action.
Optimized Loading
The animation file displayed has only 47Kb and is furthermore loaded asynchronously (AJAX/HTTP request principle). This ensures that the display speed of your web site is not affected by the module!

Ensure that the alternative content can be displayed within the field defined with the Flash Player! If you do not define any alternative content, the standard Flash Player message will be displayed.
The alternative content will also be picked up by search engines, making it a great tool for creating search-engine-friendly content!
Carousel
Radius X: Specifies the width of the X axis of the Carousel.
Default: 150
Experiment with the settings Radius-X, Radius-Y and Perspective to obtain the desired configuration of your Carousel.
Radius Y: Specifies the length of the Y axis of the Carousel.
Default: 30
Experiment with the settings Radius-X, Radius-Y and Perspective to obtain the desired configuration of your Carousel.

Default: 10
Experiment with the settings Radius-X, Radius-Y and Perspective to obtain the desired configuration of your Carousel.
Position Center Left: Specifies the position of the Carousel starting from the center of the animation window.
Default: 0. Plus and minus values are accepted. e.g -20
The standard position of the Carousel is in the center of the animation window. With this setting the Carousel can be shifted horizontally.
Position Center Top: Specifies the position of the Carousel starting from the center of the animation window.
Default: 0. Plus and minus values are accepted. e.g -20
The standard position of the Carousel is in the center of the animation window. With this setting the Carousel can be shifted vertically.

Default: 15
Speed Max: Specifies the maximum rotation speed which the Carousel may reach when controlled via mouse (Navigation "auto").
Default: 15
Random Images: Specifies the number of images shown randomly at any time. Images are taken randomly from the complete selection contained in the Carousel.

Preloader Path: Specifies a path to a Flash file (swf) or image file (jpg, png, gif) to display as a preloader message.
Default: preloader.swf
A preloader is an indicator to inform the viewer that content is being loaded, e.g. "Please wait…" A default preloader (preloader.swf) has been provided and is preset for this option.
Frames per Second: Specifies the frame rate or frequency at which images are to be displayed in the Carousel.
Default: 30/40
The framerate affects how smoothly your animation plays. For example, an carousel set to 24 frames per second (fps) plays 24 frames each second. If the framerate is set to 40 fps, the carousel appears to animate more smoothly than if it ran at 24 fps. However, your carousel at 40 fps also plays much faster than it does at 24 fps, so the total duration (in seconds) is shorter.
Use the lowest possible frame rate that makes your carousel appear to play smoothly, which helps reduce the strain on the end-user's processor.
Background
Background Color: Specifies the background color of the animation.
Default: #ffffff
Show Image: Specifies whether an image should appear as background image.

Default: top left
Percent: x% y%
The first value is the horizontal position and the second value is the vertical. The top left corner is 0% 0%. The right bottom corner is 100% 100%.
Absolute: xpos ypos
The first value is the horizontal position and the second value is the vertical. The top left corner is 0px 0px.

JSFunction: Specifies name and parameter of the JavaScript function to be called up by clicking on an image.
Example:

This gives you the possibility to create own JavaScript functions via which the animation can communicate with the other modules. The JavaScript function must be on the same page with the 3D Carousel, e. g., in an DotNetNuke-Text/HTML module!
Example - JavaScript function in an DotNetNuke-Text/HTML module (Source):
<script language="javascript">
function MyFunction(v1, v2, v3)
{
alert(v1);
alert(v2);
alert(v3);
}
</script>
