User-Friendly Configuration
All 3D Gallery V1 and V2 options are preset for quick-start use, and for most settings, drop-down lists allow you to choose from a wide range of options, with comprehensive help available for every setting.
Gallery Rotation Options
Automatic: The Gallery continually rotates while the site visitor controls the rotation direction and speed by positioning their mouse pointer.
Buttons: Navigation buttons that control rotation can be placed anywhere within the animation.
Image Click Actions
When clicking on a Gallery image, choose from these action options:
• Detail Page: A detail page opens that includes more information about the selected image, so that more information about a product can be provided. Two text fields can be displayed, with both fields supporting the most common HTML tags. (V2 only)
• Lightbox: Details of the clicked image are shown in a Lightbox. It is even possible to open an entire website in a Lightbox! Lightbox presentations can be configured with 10 different themes and extensive custom settings including the full range possibilities that HTML allows! (V2 only)
• Link: When the user clicks an image, a link opens to any web page you choose.
Wide Selection of Presentation Options
You can configure 3D Gallery V1 and V2 to your exact specifications using radius, perspective, speed, background image and mirroring settings. All text and background colors are easy to configure, too.
Import/Export Functions
Use the powerful Import/Export function (V2 only) to export content only, or export the complete 3D Gallery module with settings for importing into another 3D Gallery V2 instance. Import/Export allows for flexible portability from project to project. Using the Import/Export functions, you can now:
• Design your Gallery locally or on a test site before importing it for public display on another website
• Create pre-made 3D Galleries that can be easily imported into other websites
• With one click, backup all the content or the full 3D Gallery V2 module with settings
Extensive JavaScript Support
With 3D Gallery V2, you can extend any animation event using custom JavaScript (ImageClicked, MouseOver, MouseOut, AnimationLoaded, DetailPageLoaded, etc.) With powerful JavaScript support, you can fully enhance the user interface experience, even controlling the animation externally with additional JavaScript events (InvokeImageClick, InvokeDetailPageClose, etc.)
Randomize Images
Randomized Images works to create a dynamic Gallery display when you have a large number of images that cannot be shown all together. When you enable the Randomized Images feature, every time the Gallery page is displayed, a different group of images from the Gallery are displayed.
HTML Support
Font size, font color and line spacing for all text can be easily customized using drop-down selection lists. Additional text formatting is also available using a sub-set of HTML tags within the text body.
Optimized Gallery Loading
Optimized for best performance, the 3D Gallery V1/V2 animation files are only 67Kb/75Kb and are loaded asynchronously (AJAX/HTTP Request), to render Gallery pages quickly and to keep your web site running fast!

How The Gallery Works
Settings Overview
mediaANT Newsletter
How the 3D Gallery works
The 3D Gallery is constructed like a carousel where only the back section is visible.
Any images added to the 3D Gallery are distributed evenly over the complete carousel. Therefore, the distance between the images is determined by the size of the carousel and the number of images displayed. The size of the carousel can be defined by the setting Radius.
Because of the three-dimensional perspective of the Gallery, the size of the images shown depends on the extension of the carousel. The larger the carousel, the smaller the images in the background. To modify the size of the images, the focus of the Gallery can be moved backwards or forwards with the setting Focus. If you increase the Focus value, the images move forward and appear larger, but at the same time, the visible section of the carousel and thus its perspective presentation are changed as well.
For optimum presentation, we suggest using between 10 and 70 images.
Examples:
To make the differences in the presentation clear, all galleries below are using the same images.
View of a gallery from above:

The same gallery with fewer images. The distance between the images has become larger:

A large gallery with 40 images. The size of the images has reduced automatically, so that all images could be fully displayed in the gallery:
(Radius: 800 / Focus: 250)

The same gallery with larger focus. The perspective has moved forward. The images now appear larger, but the three-dimensional effect is reduced:
(Radius: 800 / Focus: 600)
