With the 3D Gallery for DotNetNuke you will get a DotNetNuke module that allows you to create impressive image galleries and product presentations in only a few minutes.

For best presentation quality and highest performance, only state of the art technologies are used.
For your image/product display this means:
 smooth movements  precise image rendition
 quick loading  minimal processor load

Top Features & Requirements

• The 3D Gallery can be used in all DotNetNuke 4 versions.
• The animation has been developed entirely with the newest Flash technologies (AS 3).
• Optimum presentation is obtained with 10 to 60 images. For more information, please read How the 3D Gallery Works.

Reviewed and certified by DotNetNuke Corp.
As all other mediaANT modules, the 3D Gallery has successfully passed the DotNetNuke Module Review!

No portal modifications required
After installation of the module, the 3D Gallery is immediately ready for use! None of the settings of your portal will be affected by the installation and no additional software will be installed!

User-Friendly Configuration
The module can be fully configured via the "Settings" page. All options are already pre-set, and in most cases drop-down lists support the selection of entries. Each setting is fully described in a help text. It is therefore not necessary to go through a lengthy training process in order to understand how the 3D Gallery functions.

Wide Selection of Presentation Options
Data input on radius, perspective, speed, background image and mirroring enable you to configure the Gallery to your exact specifications. In addition, all text and background colors are freely configurable.

Various Rotation Options
For the rotation you can choose between the following options:
Automatic: The Gallery always rotates. The visitor can control the rotation direction and speed by mouse.
Via buttons: In this setting, navigation arrows can be positioned anywhere within the animation. In addition, color and transparency of the arrows can be set to specifications.

Randomize Images
With this feature, every time a page is called up, a different selection of images shows in the Gallery. This makes sense in those cases where a Gallery contains a large selection of images that cannot all be shown properly at the same time. The selection of images from the complete set in the Gallery follows the random principle.

HTML Support
Font size, font color and line spacing of all texts can be configured freely with the help of selection lists. Extensive text formatting can be effected via a sub-set of HTML tags.

Optimized  Loading
The animation file displayed has only 57Kb and is furthermore loaded asynchronously (AJAX/HTTP request principle).  This ensures that the display speed of your web site is not affected by the module!

How the 3D Gallery works

The 3D Gallery is constructed like a carousel where only the back section is visible.
Any images added to the 3D Gallery are distributed evenly over the complete carousel. Therefore, the distance between the images is determined by the size of the carousel and the number of images displayed. The size of the carousel can be defined by the setting Radius.

Because of the three-dimensional perspective of the Gallery, the size of the images shown depends on the extension of the carousel. The larger the carousel, the smaller the images in the background. To modify the size of the images, the focus of the Gallery can be moved backwards or forwards with the setting Focus. If you increase the Focus value, the images move forward and appear larger, but at the same time, the visible section of the carousel and thus its perspective presentation are changed as well.

For optimum presentation, we suggest using between 10 and 70 images.

Examples:
To make the differences in the presentation clear, all galleries below are using the same images.

View of a gallery from above:

The same gallery with fewer images. The distance between the images has become larger:

A large gallery with 40 images. The size of the images has reduced automatically, so that all images could be fully displayed in the gallery:
(Radius: 800 / Focus: 250)

The same gallery with larger focus. The perspective has moved forward. The images now appear larger, but the three-dimensional effect is reduced:
(Radius: 800 / Focus: 600)
